For most of her professional career, Dr. DeJournette was a Business Education teacher in the Duval County Public School System. She says, “it was because of the great education I received at EWC that I was able to retire after serving 30 years in the classroom”.

“I support EWC because it is the oldest, private institution of higher education in the State of Florida, and the college continues to provide educational opportunities for students from all over the world. I am proud to be a graduate of Edward Waters College and a supporter of EWC alumni on both the local and national levels. I will continue to serve my Beloved Alma Mater”, DeJournette said.
