JACKSONVILLE, FL— Edward Waters University, in partnership with Florida State College at Jacksonville, will host the grand opening of the Tiger Food Pantry to assist students at EWU who experience food insecurities during the academic year. Both CEO & President, A. Zachary Faison, Jr. along with Florida State College at Jacksonville’s President, Dr. John Avendano, will speak on the exciting partnership between the two institutions. Other attendees will include representatives from the philanthropic community, including Florida Blue, who made the initial donation to establish the food pantry.
