Edward Waters College Executive Cabinet Gives $13,689 to the College

Nearly $25,000 given since their onboarding in 2018


Jacksonville, FL – October 11, 2019
– The Edward Waters College (EWC) Executive Cabinet was pleased to announce their gift of $13,689 during the October meeting of the College’s Board of Trustees to support the “Level-Up” Annual Giving Campaign for Emerging Eminence at EWC, bringing their total giving to the College to $23,689 since their onboarding in 2018.

On October 4, 2019, the Edward Waters College Executive Cabinet presented a check in the amount of $13,689 to the EWC Board of Trustees, furthering their commitment of reinvestment to the College. This is the second gift from the Executive Cabinet since the appointment of President & CEO, Dr. A. Zachary Faison, Jr., when in October 2018 cabinet members gifted $10,000 under his leadership.

“I am exceedingly pleased with the Cabinet’s philanthropic support,” said EWC President & CEO, Dr. A. Zachary Faison, Jr. “The Executive Cabinet is invested in providing our students with a meaningful experience and a strong education. Towards that end, an investment in the Annual Giving Campaign is an example of their continued commitment to the College.”

Relatedly, in Fiscal Year 2018-2019, 100% of the faculty and staff at EWC contributed to the EWC “Level-Up” Annual Giving Campaign for a total of $20,957.00.

“As a College, we are becoming a destination institution of Emerging Eminence and we will continue to work with great vigor and focus towards providing the students we serve with a higher educational experience that is Nulli Secundus – Second to None! And philanthropic support will assist us in this endeavor,” said President Faison.
