Dr. Jennifer Price Appointed Vice President of Enrollment Management and Strategic Matriculant Services at Edward Waters College, Edward Waters University

JACKSONVILLE, FL. (January 9, 2020) – Having earned a notable record of accomplishment as an enrollment and student success strategist, practitioner and administrator, Dr. Jennifer Price has accepted an appointment as the new Vice President of Enrollment Management and Strategic Matriculant Services at Edward Waters College (EWC). Dr. Price began her tenure, effective December 9, 2019 as a key member of the President’s Executive Cabinet and the College’s senior administrative staff. She will maintain primary responsibility in planning and executing a wide range of executive and administrative initiatives that employ enrollment stratagem related to student access and retention, including the areas of admissions, financial aid, student accounts, the Tiger Center for Academic Persistence and Success, the Rev. Charles H. Pearce Institute, and the development and implementation of the new Tiger One-Stop. In addition, Dr. Price will work with the President and other senior staff, faculty, staff, students, alumni, and external partners and stakeholders to ensure prospective students not only have avenues to access a quality education, but also to improve student outcomes and services related to front-facing engagement and ease of matriculation at EWC. Relatedly, Dr. Price will provide strategic support towards the implementation and actualization of the President’s vision, strategic initiatives, and overall institutional priorities.

As an accomplished administrator with a higher education career spanning over 18 years, Dr. Price most recently served as Vice President for Enrollment Management and Student Affairs at Florida Gateway College (FGC) in North Central Florida, where she also taught coursework in the area of Psychology. She formerly held posts as the Dean of Enrollment Services at Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC), the largest of 16 community colleges in the state of Pennsylvania, and as Dean of Enrollment Services and Director of Recruitment at Prince George’s Community College in Largo, Maryland.

“Dr. Price’s high acumen and expertise in the strategies consistent with critical, yet success enrollment management will serve to principally enhance the development, implementation, and eventual realization of our overall institutional priorities related to recruitment and retention,” President Faison said.

Throughout her tenure in higher education, Dr. Price has led areas related to: Recruitment, Enrollment Marketing, Enrollment Services, Transfer Services, International Admissions, Veterans Affairs, Academic Advising, Student Success Center, Student Life, Financial Aid, Accessibility Services, Athletics, Residence Life, Take Stock in Children and TRIO. Additionally, she has led scholarship endowment fundraising yielding $1.5 million, the restructuring of curriculum design, the development of retention programming, two successful re-accreditation processes, CRM implementations, ERP implementations, website re-designs, and institutional re-brandings, among other successful integrations.

Dr. Price holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Vocational Rehabilitation from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Counseling Psychology from Bowie State University. She earned the Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree in Higher Education Leadership from Walden University, where she is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Marketing.
