HBCU Journal on Research Initiatives

Abstracts Due November 15th, 2019

The HBCU Journal on Research Initiatives would like to invite submissions for publication on research across the disciplines. The journal is housed at Edward Waters College, the oldest HBCU in the state of Florida. The journal was created in the interest of expanding and advancing HBCU scholarship.

Submission Guidelines:

The HBCU Journal on Research Initiatives is an interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed refereed journal with an emphasis on research initiatives at Historically Black Colleges and Universities. Manuscripts can be in the Modern Language Association standard document style and should not exceed 25 pages in length—not including tables, graphs, figures, and references—and typed double spaced in 12-point font Times New Roman. Submissions should be sent to Megan Crowley-Watson at m.crowleywatson@ewc.edu as an attachment. Manuscripts should be original and not submitted to other journals. Manuscripts should include a short bio, cover letter, and contact information.

Review Process

All abstracts will be reviewed by the editorial board after November 15th, 2019. Applicants will be notified by December 1st.
